On June 21st, 2024, Mr. Ussen Galym, Chief Information Officer of the Baiterek National Holding, visited the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI). During this visit, Mr. Ussen Galym met with ISSAI General director, Professor Atakan Varol, Deputy director of Operations, Yerbol Absalyamov, and senior data scientist, Madina Abdrakhmanova.
Mr. Galym highlighted the current development areas in the Baiterek Holding, emphasizing their strong interest in AI assistants and chatbots to enhance customer experience for Otbasy Bank. He expressed a keen interest in collaboration with ISSAI to advance these technologies.
Professor Atakan Varol, Madina Abdrakhmanova and Yerbol Absalyamov, shared ISSAI’s experience in developing human avatars, such as Umay, and detailed the main components and challenges of their work. The discussion also covered the financial and computational resources necessary for such projects.
