Gauhar Orazbekova
Research Coordinator
Gauhar obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics (with a minor in Chemistry) and Master of Science degree in Finance from Nazarbayev University in 2017 and 2019, respectively. Currently serving as a Grant Coordinator at the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence.
Before joining ISSAI acted as a Senior Award Manager of the Office of the Provost – Research Administration at Nazarbayev University, where they oversee the planning and development of research budgets, coordinate project administrators, and provide consulting support. Previously worked as a Senior Manager for Research Administration at the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, an Award Manager and Specialist in the same organization, focusing on research budgeting and administrative support. Has experience as a Technician at the Private Institution “National Laboratory Astana”, where she assisted in battery research and organized an international conference.
