On February 28, the delegation of JSC “National Company “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy” visited the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI).
ISSAI founding director professor Atakan Varol presented to guests the key research projects on AI for human-machine interaction in Kazakh, computer vision, facial biometrics, industrial safety, and augmented reality. He shared the Institute’s future plans to develop a large language model for the Kazakh language and the computational and other resources needed for that.
The delegation showed high interest in the Institute’s projects, expressing their intentions to cooperate. They mentioned that such projects as Kazakh TTS2 and Umay could be applicable in the railway sector and activities of their call center.
