On April 26th a delegation of Kaspi Bank, led by the chairman of the board at Kaspi bank Pavel Mironov and chief data officer Duman Uvatayev visited Nazarbayev university and ISSAI labs.
The ISSAI presentation was opened by postdoctoral researcher Azamat Yeshmukhametov, who demonstrated the latest innovations in using artificial intelligence for robotics and highlighted their adaptability in various fields. Following this, postdoctoral researcher Zhanat Makhataeva showed her research on a project involving AR and AI, with a focus on external object representation and the advancement of AR-assisted technology to aid people with memory impairments, such as Alzheimer’s disease. Finally, ISSAI data scientist Madina Abdrakhmanova presented to the guests the Institute’s research developments in AI for the Kazakh language, computer vision, facial recognition, and AR developments.
Representatives of Kaspi bank were interested in ISSAI projects. They highlighted the Institute’s achievements in computer vision and NLP and its importance for further development. The Kaspi team invited ISSAI members to join their seminar on Big Data in NU.
