On 18 June 2024, Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) started its Introduction to AI course with esteemed members of Nazarbayev University management as the first cohort.
This course is titled “Introduction to AI”, and was created by ISSAI team members. The course targets specialists from various fields who seek to deepen their understanding of AI, covering topics such as machine learning, data science, NLP, generative AI, prompt engineering, and data collection.
First lecture of this course was delivered by General Director of ISSAI, Prof. Atakan Varol. Prof. Varol presented two lectures on AI history. ISSAI data scientists Saida Mussakhojayeva, Askat Kuzdeuov, Alina Polonskaya, Madina Abdrakhmanova, Aigerim Abdenbayeva, Zhanat Makhataeva are other instructors and content developers for the course.
