On August 20, 2024, ISSAI postdoctoral researcher Tolegen Akhmetov participated in one of the regional meetings for workers in the education sector during the Global Educational Summit for Teachers in Kazakhstan.
Representing ISSAI and Nazarbayev University, Tolegen Akhmetov delivered a presentation on the topic “Industrial Safety Using Augmented Reality and Artificial Intelligence”. During the speech, he highlighted the importance of digitalization in industrial safety and the use of AR and AI technologies to enhance safety protocols in industrial environments. Tolegen emphasized ISSAI’s projects and developments in AI and computer vision and the Institute’s role in the development of AI for Kazakh. He also encouraged technical educators to incorporate AR and AI technologies into their curriculum and prepare students for their future careers.
This year’s event focused on digital innovations in education, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss the integration of AI and advanced technologies into teaching processes.
