Inara Tusseyeva is a PhD holder in Robotics Engineering at the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences at Nazarbayev University (NU). She earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Hardware and Software from Kazakh National Technical University in 2010 and a master’s degree in Information Systems from Gyeongsang National University in South Korea in 2013.

Currently, she is a Research Assistant at the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI). Her research interests include Human-Robot Interaction (HRI), Human Perception, assessment methods in HRI, perceived safety, and robot adaptation based on the detection of human biological signals. At ISSAI, Inara is working on robotic therapy for children with speech disorders.
