Daniil Filimonov
Research Assistant
Interests:
Daniil Filimonov is pursuing a B.S. degree in Robotics Engineering at Nazarbayev University. During his studies, he conducted research on tensegrity robotics, focusing on developing mobile tensegrity robots capable of withstanding mechanical impacts.
During his junior year, he won a grant from the Shakhmardan Yessenov Foundation as part of the Program for Scientific Internships in World Laboratories. With this grant, Daniil completed an 11-week scientific internship at the CREATE Lab, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, where he conducted research on a morphing soft mobile robot.
Currently, Daniil is a research assistant at ISSAI, continuing his work on enhancing the mechanical resistance of mobile robots by applying tensegrity structures.
