Sakiru Olagunju is a PhD candidate at Nazarbayev University, specializing in the application of high-resolution geospatial data and artificial intelligence for Material Flow Analysis. His expertise lies at the intersection of civil engineering, environmental science, and data science, with a strong focus on leveraging AI-driven methodologies to enhance sustainability and circularity in the built environment.

Holding an MEng degree from Nazarbayev University, he has a strong publication record in reputable journals, contributing to advancements in geomechanics, smart geotechnics, and the circular economy. His technical expertise includes geospatial and data science tools, including ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Python (Rasterio, GDAL, NumPy), R, SQL, and Tableau. He also has extensive experience in machine learning and big data frameworks, such as Hadoop (HBase), Apache Spark, and AI-driven geospatial analytics.
