The meeting was attended by Dr. Huseyin Atakan Varol, General Director of ISSAI, along with Rustem Yeshpanov (Data Scientist), Daulet Aliyev (Legal Counsel), and Aigerim Sarsenova, Senior External Affairs Manager. On behalf of ISSAI, Aigerim delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the institute’s core mission, infrastructure, and flagship projects such as the ISSAI KAZ-LLM and Oylan—Kazakhstan’s first vision language model. She also showcased ISSAI’s first commercial product, Soyle App, a multilingual AI platform for real-time speech recognition and translation.

Dr. Elena Gaura presented Coventry University’s research initiatives in AI and emphasized their growing interest in international partnerships focused on ethical AI, education, and large-scale systems.

Following the presentations, Dr. Gaura and Dr. Varol engaged in a dynamic discussion around potential joint research opportunities. Both parties expressed strong interest in collaboration and agreed to organize a seminar and follow-up discussions in June to define specific directions for joint research and academic exchange.

ISSAI looks forward to building a meaningful partnership with Coventry University, aligned with its mission to develop cutting-edge AI technologies and foster international academic cooperation.
