On August 12, 2026, ISSAI’s Executive Director Yerbol Absalyamov participated in the republican youth conference «МАЗМҰН: Мағынадан басталатын контент», organised by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the «Til-Qazyna» National Scientific and Practical Centre in celebration of International Youth Day.
During his presentation, Mr. Yerbol shared ISSAI’s work in artificial intelligence and introduced several of the Institute’s key products, including MangiSoz, Oylan, and ISSAI Voice Studio.
He also emphasised the importance of increasing the presence of Kazakh language on the web. A stronger digital presence of Kazakh is essential not only for the development of the language, but also for building more capable AI models that can understand and generate Kazakh-language content.
The programme brought together speakers from a wide range of fields, including Aryn Kunanbay; Assistant Professor at Kazakh-British Technical University; Bulbul Kalkanbayeva, a personal stylist and fashion influencer; Gulbanu Yerezhepova, Director of Steppe & World Publishing; Bekzhan Bissembeyev, actor and one of the authors of the BalaFunny team; and Zhansaya Muratbekkyzy, comedian and blogger.
The conference highlighted the importance of creating high-quality digital content in the Kazakh language, with speakers encouraging young people and content creators to contribute to the development and expansion of Kazakh-language content online.
