On August 21, ISSAI welcomed representatives of the Aitas Foundation, a philanthropic initiative focused on supporting social and educational development in Kazakhstan, to discuss potential partnership opportunities in education.
ISSAI was represented by Yerbol Absalyamov, Executive Director; Amina Baikenova, Acting Deputy Director of Product and External Affairs; Azamat Yeshmukhametov, Head of the Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory; Gibrat Kurmanov, Administrative Director; Akylbek Maxutov, Senior Data Scientist; Anuar Aryngazin, Data Scientist; and Ulzhan Alibek, External Affairs Manager.
The Aitas Foundation was represented by Serik Zhunusov, Head of the Foundation; R. Zh. Abilov, Head of Educational Projects at the Fund for Sustainable Development of Education; and Rustem Yermekov, Educational Projects Manager at the Fund for Sustainable Development of Education.
During the meeting, ISSAI presented its educational and research initiatives, including the ISSAI Summer Research Program, which provides students with an opportunity to gain hands-on research experience and explore artificial intelligence.
The Aitas Foundation shared its achievements and future plans for supporting schools in rural areas of Kazakhstan, highlighting its efforts to expand educational opportunities for students in the country’s villages.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange ideas and explore potential areas for collaboration, particularly in expanding access to quality education, introducing AI and technology-related learning opportunities, and supporting young people across Kazakhstan.
ISSAI looks forward to continuing discussions with the Aitas Foundation and exploring opportunities to develop joint educational initiatives that can contribute to the development of young talent across Kazakhstan.
