In order to advance the development of speech and language processing applications for the Kazakh language and encourage the use of Kazakh in the digital field, our team has created several AI-based speech and natural language processing projects for the Kazakh language. By introducing AI for Kazakh language projects, we aim to accelerate the penetration of the Kazakh language into the Internet of things (IoT) technologies by promoting Kazakh language use in speech-based digital technologies and advancing research in Kazakh speech processing.
Unique to ISSAI in Central Asia, all our research datasets are open-source and publicly available for download from our website. We expect that our work will be a valuable resource for research communities in both academia and industry enabling the development of products and services for Kazakh people. We believe that this work will further progress speech processing research and advance speech-enabled technology in Kazakhstan.
As a leading AI Institute in the region, we also started to apply our know-how and expertise to create speech and NLP technologies for other Turkic languages.
