Our team

Nail Kamilov is a Software Engineer at the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI). He specializes in backend development, data engineering, building scalable API systems, and developing LLM models with supporting infrastructure. His expertise spans Python development with a particular focus on Django, FastAPI, and microservice architectures.

Nail received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering (2021) from East Kazakhstan Technical University and studied under the Erasmus+ program at Lublin University of Technology in Poland. With over 4 years of professional experience, Nail has worked across different organizations in Kazakhstan. Prior to ISSAI, he contributed to project Oraclus at Extrum Technologies, gained experience at the Digital Development Center of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, and began his career as a Technical Engineer at the Titanium and Magnesium Plant.
