Would you like such programs as Siri and Alexa to speak Kazakh? Scientists from the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) of the Nazarbayev University are conducting a research study on the development of Kazakh language voice database.

The aim is to collect voice data in the Kazakh language for the future use in the technologies like speech recognition and speech synthesis. These technologies are used in well-known virtual assistants as Siri, Alexa, and Cortana. In the future, this database will also be used for creating other programs/applications in the Kazakh language.
