ISSAI data scientist Daulet Baimukashev is leaving for PhD studies in Finland.

17 September 2021 was the last working day of the ISSAI founding data scientist Daulet Baimukashev. A graduate of Nazarbayev University Robotics Department for both his bachelor and master’s degrees, Daulet has been a key member of ISSAI for the past two years. He conducted high-impact research on deep learning-based control, intelligent tactile sensors, and epidemic simulators publishing over 10 papers in top venues such as ICRA, IROS, TMECH, and RAL.

Daulet will join Aalto University in Finland to start his PhD in autonomous driving. We are certain that he will excel in his studies and research. We wish Daulet good luck and success in his future career.
