The Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) of the Nazarbayev University is looking for interns for the Summer Research Program.

ISSAI was founded in September 2019 to develop research and innovation in the digital sphere of Kazakhstan with a focus on AI research.

ISSAI invites undergraduate and graduate students for the Summer Research Program which will take place in summer 2022. The intern will work together with data scientists and researchers on the Institute’s projects and will gain valuable knowledge and skills in the field of machine learning, data science algorithms, and AI. 

Requirements:

–       Python programming skills 

–       Knowledge of general machine learning and deep learning concepts

–       Experience with Pytorch, Tensorflow or Keras (preferable)

–       Computer Vision background  (preferable)

–       English language proficiency (minimum intermediate level)

Dates:

–       The program starts in mid-June. The date may slightly vary.

–       The duration of the program is 2 months. 

–    Payment is in accordance with the level of education and skills within the limits established by the rules of Nazarbayev University. 

–       Due to the pandemic, online work is possible.

P.S. This program is mainly oriented for Bachelor students, but if you are Bachelor degree holder, MS student or beyond and consider yourself as a good programming specialist, ML/AI researcher you are also more than welcome to apply.
