ISSAI hosted an online guest talk with a software engineer from WhatsApp in New York

On April 11th, the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) hosted a guest talk online with Zhomart Mukhamejanov, a software engineer at WhatsApp in New York. The event was aimed at students interested in learning more about Android OS, security and privacy issues, as well as career advice from an experienced industry professional.

Zhomart began his talk by discussing the Android operating system and how it has evolved over the years. He explained the security and privacy issues associated with the platform and shared tips on how to mitigate these risks. He also highlighted some of the latest features in the Android OS that enhance security and privacy.

The second part of the talk focused on career advice for students interested in pursuing a career in software engineering. The speaker shared his personal experience of working in the industry and provided tips on how to get started and how to stay motivated.

The audience found the talk to be informative and engaging. They had the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the guest speaker. One student said, “I really enjoyed the talk and found it very informative. It was great to hear from someone who has real-world experience in the industry.”
