Between 13th and 15th of September 2023, ISSAI team visited Karaganda and Pavlodar universities to give a seminar about ISSAI’s research activities and opportunities to use NVIDIA DGX supercomputers.
During this period ISSAI Technical project coordinator Yerbol Absalyamov held seminars in Karaganda Buketov University, Karaganda Technical University named after A. Saginov and Pavlodar Toraighyrov University. Yerbol presented materials on the technical features and parameters of AI computing resources and how research is conducted using the NVIDIA DGX-1 and DGX-2, past and ongoing research activities of ISSAI and possibilities to have potential cooperation for joint research. Main focus of seminars was the possibility for universities to have remote access to NVIDIA DGX supercomputers and the potential joint research.
ISSAI is keen to collaborate with other Kazakhstani universities to increase the country’s AI research expertise and capacity.
