ISSAI Founding Director Prof. Atakan Varol visited the Querrey Simpson Institute for Bioelectronics at Northwestern University (Evanston, Illinois, United States) as a member of the Nazarbayev University delegation. During the visit, Prof. John Rogers informed the delegation of the research directions of the Institute.
Postdoctoral researchers of the Institute presented their cutting-edge research projects at the intersection of engineering, science, and medicine. NU delegation had also a tour of the research facility with various engineering labs, wet labs, and clean rooms.
The Querrey Simpson Institute for Bioelectronics at Northwestern University was founded to foster key, applied, and translational studies toward creating novel, biologically compatible electronic devices of unparalleled functionality that are critically important to human health.
