On January 30, the delegation of West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University named after Zhangir Khan visited the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI).
During this visit, ISSAI’s postdoctoral researcher Dr. Azamat Yeshmukhametov presented his work on tensegrity robots. These cutting-edge robots utilize tensegrity principles to achieve high adaptability, making them suitable for a range of uses including exploration and monitoring.
Postdoctoral researcher Dr. Zhanat Makhataeva shared her work on a project involving Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), focusing on external object representation and the advancement of AR-assisted technology to aid people with memory impairments, such as Alzheimer’s disease. Senior Administrative Coordinator Gibrat Kurmanov introduced the Institute’s work and research achievements to the guests.
The delegation from West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University named after Zhangir Khan was impressed by ISSAI’s research projects and its significant contributions to sharing knowledge and expertise with the country’s regional universities.
