On May 2, 2025, the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) hosted a delegation comprising Rustam Zhursunov, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Investors Union, and Bolat Akchulakov, Chairman of the Kazenergy Association. The meeting was attended by ISSAI’s Executive Director, Yerbol Absalyamov, Government Relations Manager, Alaidar Amirseit and Senior Public Relations Manager, Aliya Tussupova.
During the session, Yerbol Absalyamov presented ISSAI’s ongoing initiatives, highlighting the Institute’s commitment to developing local AI talent, data collection, and the creation of indigenous AI products. Yerbol Absalyamov showcased recent achievements, including language – audio – vision model Oylan2, KazLLM and Soyle App. Additionally, he shared that the Soyle App, a translation model currently operating on the Mangitas inference server – ISSAI’s own solution for data processing and artificial intelligence, ensuring functionality within a secure local network. Addressing guests’ concerns about data security, Yerbol emphasized that ISSAI’s systems are designed to prevent external data transmission, with access restricted to the internal network.
The guests expressed keen interest in ISSAI’s work, recognizing the significant potential of AI applications in such spheres as journalism, the judicial system, and industrial safety. Rustam Zhursunov underscored the importance of customizing AI solutions to meet specific sectoral needs. Kazenergy extended an invitation to ISSAI for a more in-depth meeting involving Data scientists specialists to explore further collaboration opportunities.
