ISSAI at KazHackStan 2025: Showcasing Mangitas and AI Product Ecosystem

From 17 to 19 September 2025, the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) took part in KazHackStan 2025, Central Asia’s largest cybersecurity conference, held at Sadu Arena, Almaty. The event brought together more than 6,000 participants, including international experts, government officials, business leaders, and cybersecurity professionals.

Amina Baikenova, Acting Deputy Director of Product and External Affairs at ISSAI, participated as a speaker and actively engaged in the track sessions throughout all three days of the conference. In her presentation, she introduced Mangitas, ISSAI’s secure, on-premise AI inference server designed to address the growing demand for data sovereignty, cybersecurity compliance, and sovereign AI infrastructure in Kazakhstan.

Amina also highlighted the ecosystem of AI solutions built on Mangitas, including:

  • Mangisoz – a powerful speech and translation suite for Kazakh, Russian, English, Turkish, and Chinese.
  • Oylan – Kazakhstan’s first multilingual multimodal AI model for text, image, and audio analysis.
  • TilSync – a real-time subtitle and translation service for multilingual events.
  • Beynele – an AI image generator with deep understanding of Kazakh culture and identity.

By presenting ISSAI’s technologies at KazHackStan 2025, Amina Baikenova underscored the Institute’s mission to develop sovereign, secure, and innovative AI solutions that serve both national needs and global standards. ISSAI’s active participation reaffirmed its role as a strategic driver of AI innovation in Kazakhstan, bridging academic excellence, technological development, and real-world application in cybersecurity and digital transformation.
