ISSAI Booth Showcases Cutting-Edge AI Innovations at Digital Bridge 2025

October 4, 2025 — The Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) at Nazarbayev University successfully concluded its participation in Digital Bridge 2025, Central Asia’s largest technology forum, held in Astana EXPO International Exhibition Center from October 2 to 4.

This year’s forum, themed “AI and Human: The Symbiosis of the Future,” brought together more than 30,000 participants from over 30 countries, including global tech leaders, AI researchers, startups, investors, and policymakers.

At the ISSAI booth, visitors discovered the latest advancements in artificial intelligence. ISSAI representatives were also pleased to announce the launch of the ISSAI AI Playground,  an interactive showcase of ISSAI’s applied AI technologies. Our data scientists showcased demonstrations of the Oylan Language Audio Vision Model — Kazakhstan’s first multimodal AI system — as well as Mangisoz, a speech and text translation service; Beynele, an image generation system; and TilSync, a real-time subtitling tool. Throughout the Forum, high-school and university students who stopped by our booth expressed their strong interest in the ISSAI Summer Research Program and inquired about how to apply.

To make the experience more interactive, we hosted a short quiz for visitors featuring basic questions about AI and our institute. The format proved lively and engaging: participants tested their knowledge of core concepts and ISSAI projects and basics of AI, and those with the highest scores received valuable ISSAI-branded gifts. The activity not only created a festive atmosphere, but also helped guests better understand how our research translates into real-world solutions for education, media, and business.

Over three days, ISSAI experts engaged with hundreds of visitors, answering questions about AI technologies and their real-world applications. The booth attracted strong interest from students, entrepreneurs, and policymakers alike. Journalists from Khabar, Jibek Joly, Kazinform and 24KZ channels also visited the booth, featuring ISSAI’s innovations in their news coverage.

ISSAI’s participation in Digital Bridge 2025 underscored its commitment to advancing AI research in Kazakhstan and contributing to the nation’s digital transformation. The event provided a valuable platform for fostering collaboration between academia, industry, and government partners and it demonstrated how Kazakhstan is shaping the future of artificial intelligence.
