ISSAI Employee Galammadin Askar Speaks at the SAMGAU Alumni Forum

The SAMGAU Alumni Forum, held annually at NIS Turkistan (Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools) , was successfully organized this year, with a special guest appearance by Galammadin Askar, a researcher of the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI). Galammadin, an alumnus of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools (NIS), shared his inspiring journey in science, engineering, and research with the students at the forum.

The event focused on important topics such as university admissions and choosing future career paths. Galammadin, who has extensive experience as a software engineer and research assistant at ISSAI, spoke about his academic journey, which includes studying at NIS, obtaining a bachelor’s degree at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), and his current work. Galammadin provided an overview of the products he is involved with at ISSAI and highlighted the opportunity for students to participate in the Summer Research Program. His involvement aimed to inspire students by illustrating the path from secondary education to success in international academic and professional fields.

Throughout the forum, participants had the opportunity to hear real-world success stories from NIS alumni and gain practical advice on applying to top global universities. In addition, students learned about grants and scholarships, and had the chance to interact directly with the speakers to ask questions and receive valuable insights.

The SAMGAU Alumni Forum proved to be a beneficial platform for both students and graduates, offering guidance for making confident steps towards their futures.
