On March 26–27, the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) at Nazarbayev University took part in the forum “Growth Vector” held in Oral city, which brought together school principals and young educators from secondary schools across the West Kazakhstan Region.
Representing ISSAI, Data Scientist Akylbek Maxutov delivered a presentation on “Domestic AI: New Opportunities in Education.” During his talk, he highlighted the growing role of homegrown artificial intelligence technologies in the education sector and their potential to support teaching, learning, and school management.
Akylbek also introduced ISSAI’s AI products and demonstrated practical examples of their use, including Oylan, Beynele, TilSync, and Mangisoz. The presentation offered participants a closer look at how these technologies can contribute to more accessible, efficient, and innovative educational practices.
The forum also featured invited professors and lecturers from universities in Astana and Almaty, creating a valuable platform for professional exchange and discussion on the future of education.
