Olzhas Suleimen, Member of the board of directors of Eurasia Blockchain eXchange, and his team together with Danny Deng, Chairman of Tai Group, and his team recently visited the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI).
Tai Group plays a key role in representing China on the global blockchain stage, leading the Chinese delegation to Davos. Their Chairman, Mr. D. Deng leads the Trusted Digital City Working Group and is an alternate Director of the Blockchain Department of the China Electronics Institute.
Eurasia Blockchain eXchange and Tai Group are interested in running projects in Kazakhstan related to AI. And one of their focus is also involve AI research organizations for industrial projects.
During the visit, Technical project coordinator of ISSAI Yerbol Absalyamov and Postdoctoral Scholar Azamat Yeshmukhametov gave engaging talks highlighting the Institute’s innovative research endeavors. Presentations covered diverse areas such as AI technologies customized for the Kazakh language, computer vision projects enhancing machine perception, and tensegrity robots application.
Guests were quiet impressed by the ISSAI’s groundbreaking research initiatives and that Kazakhstan has an organization which can conduct high level research in AI. Mr. D. Deng and O. Suleimenov expressed their admiration and praised the dedication and expertise demonstrated by the researchers at the Institute, acknowledging the significance of their contributions.
The visit provided a platform for sharing knowledge and exploring potential collaborative opportunities.
