It is with great pleasure that we announce the visit of Ala-Too International University (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan) team as part of strengthening our cooperation in joint research.
Ala-Too International University’s team came to Astana to participate the Digital Bridge Forum (12-13 October, 2023), and using this opportunity they paid a visit to our labs. The visit was a landmark event that strengthened our ties and opened up new prospects for joint research in NLP.
Parties agreed to start collaborating on developing Automatic speech recognition (ASR) model, Text-to-Speech model and Parallel corpus for Kyrgyz language.
“We are confident that this visit was just the beginning for deeper and closer cooperation between our teams. We look forward to future joint initiatives aimed at advancing AI research in our countries”, – said Founding director of ISSAI, Dr. Atakan Varol.
