On April 16th, professors from Nazarbayev University’s School of Engineering and Digital Sciences (NU SEDS), including Prof. Anara Sandygulova, Prof. Tohid Alizadeh, Prof. Ton Duc Do, Prof. Zhanat Kappasov as well as ISSAI members, including deputy director Yerbol Absalyamov, postdoctoral researchers Zhanat Makhataeva, Tolegen Akhmetov, Azamat Yeshmukhametov, and PR-manager Aliya Mukhidinova, visited the Sana educational center in Astana.
This center is popular for its high equipment and a variety of sections and clubs in various fields for school students. The Sana center offers classes in robotics, programming, visual arts, vocal, sport, extra curriculum education, STEM and even trains young creators and podcast hosts. As part of the guest visit, NU SEDS professors and ISSAI members were introduced to classrooms and audiences. All were impressed by the level of equipment of this center and the opportunities that are presented here to develop children’s potential.
At the end of this visit, the ISSAI team and NU SEDS professors invited representatives of the Sana educational center to visit Nazarbayev University and explore more information about NU’s recent research activities and opportunities for students.
