These seminars, delivered by Mr. Absalyamov, unveiled an enriching discourse to a diverse audience comprising undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and faculty from computer science, oil, and gas.

The seminars aimed to introduce attendees to ISSAI’s mission, groundbreaking research activities, and the advanced computing infrastructure that supports its AI computational resources. The presentations, rich in technical content, illuminated avenues for collaboration, including joint projects, and workshops for faculty. Mr. Absalyamov showcased the Summer Research Program 2025, inviting students from the Atyrau region to apply for this program next year.

The audience showed significant interest, with questions focusing on accessing DGX resources and training opportunities, underscoring a desire for hands-on engagement with ISSAI’s technologies. Students were interested in ISSAI’s datasets, pre-trained models, and libraries we used. At the seminar’s conclusion, ISSAI NLP demo models were presented, which left the audience thoroughly impressed with our work and initiatives.

These seminars in two main universities of Atyrau region marked a significant milestone in ISSAI’s efforts to expand its outreach to regional universities, creating a bridge between cutting-edge research and academic communities throughout Kazakhstan. Such collaborations are crucial steps toward boosting Kazakhstan’s prominence in AI research and development, nurturing a robust ecosystem of innovation and expertise in artificial intelligence.
