During AI & Digital Bridge 2026, the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) at Nazarbayev University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with iFLYTEK, a leading Chinese company specializing in speech and language technologies, artificial intelligence, and intelligent computing.
The MoU was signed by Dr. Huseyin Atakan Varol, General Director of ISSAI, and Zhou Chuanfu, Vice President, President of Overseas Business of iFLYTEK Open Platform Business Group.
The agreement follows iFLYTEK’s visit to ISSAI’s office in early September, where the two sides discussed potential areas of cooperation.
The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in artificial intelligence, speech and language technologies, research, and knowledge exchange, while fostering connections between Kazakhstan’s and China’s AI ecosystems.
