On October 17, 2024 Data scientist of the Institute of Smart Systems and Artificial Intelligence (ISSAI) Ulzhan Bissarinova participated in the VII Conference Capital Markets Kazakhstan held in Almaty. The conference was dedicated to the most pressing issues facing Kazakhstan’s bond market, with a particular focus on regulation and infrastructure.
Ulzhan Bissarinova attended a panel session titled “New technologies in financial markets: digital assets and artificial intelligence”, moderated by Ms. Sholpan Ainabaeva, Chairman of the Board, SkyBridge Invest. Ulzhan shared a presentation on “Building AI Products: Opportunities and Challenges”, sharing her expertise and practical experience in building Soyle App, text to text and text to speech technology for Kazakh, English, Russian and Turkish languages.
The distinguished speakers of the panel session included Mr. Erkegali Edenbaev, Managing Director, Licensing and Financial Technologies Office, AFSA, Mr. Eldos Kuanyshbekov, Managing Director for IT – Member of the Board, KASE, Vyacheslav Anufriev, Head of Digital Financial Assets, Bereke Bank. The conversation revolved around integrating advanced machine learning and AI technologies into company operations, benefits and risks of digital financial assets for both domestic and cross-border transactions, as well as regulatory perspectives on the cryptocurrency and digital asset market. The conference served as a valuable platform for exchanging ideas among banking sector representatives and the wider business community.
