ISSAI presented four papers at ICCAR in Kyoto, Japan

The ISSAI team, consisting of Lead Data Scientist Askat Kuzdeuov, Head of the Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory Azamat Yeshmukhametov, and Postdoctoral Researcher Tolegen Akhmetov participated in the 11th International Conference on Control, Automation and Robotics (ICCAR). The event took place from April 18 to 20 at the Kyoto Research Park in Kyoto, Japan. ICCAR serves as a global platform for educators, researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to share cutting-edge ideas and advancements in the fields of Control, Automation, and Robotics.

ISSAI made significant contributions to the conference by presenting four research papers, all of which attracted notable attention from the scientific community. Dr. Yeshmukhametov showcased his study, “Design and Development of a Bionic Flexible Gripper with Embedded Self-Powered Triboelectric Tactile Sensor” (co-authored with Daniyar Dauletiya, Azat Balapan, Alibek Kakimov, and Gulnur Kalimuldina), during the Advanced Fluid Power Transmission and Control session. Dr. Akhmetov presented his work, “Augmented Reality Multistation Warning System Using Wearable Artificial Intelligence” (co-authored with Gourav Devappa Moger and Huseyin Atakan Varol), in the Application of AI in Intelligent Motion Control session.

Askat Kuzdeuov delivered two presentations: the first, “From Vision to Sound: Enhanced Object Localization for the Visually Impaired and Blind” (with Shakhizat Nurgaliyev, Tolegen Akhmetov, Vadim Ezhov, Gourav Devappa Moger, and Huseyin Atakan Varol), was featured in the Outstanding Paper Award Oral session. His second paper, “Multilingual Speech Command Recognition for Voice-Controlled Robots and Smart Systems” (co-authored with Huseyin Atakan Varol), was also presented in the Application of AI in Intelligent Motion Control session.
